Sofia Celeste is Women’s Wear Daily’s Senior Correspondent, covering Home and Interiors. Over the past two decades, she has covered the Vatican, Italy’s fashion industry, politics, economy and financial sector, as a staff reporter for Dow Jones Newswires/WSJ.com and as a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Vogue Arabia and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. Outside the realm of design, she has served as co-director/lecturer of the Sustainable Fashion Management certificate program at the European Institute of Innovation Sustainability (EIIS) in Rome and a volunteer for the Fashion Minority Alliance. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and obtained an MA in Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
