GUCCI‘S MEMORY: Demna’s first design exhibition for Gucci will be unveiled during Milan Design Week and Fuorisalone 2026.
Dubbed Gucci Memoria, it will take place at the city’s 16th century Chiostri di San Simpliciano and open to the public April 21 to 26. A press preview will be held April 20.
While details are under wraps, Gucci stated that “the exhibition will offer a symbolic retelling of the house’s 105-year history, reflecting its many facets, transformations, and creative expressions,” and that it “invites visitors to experience an immersive narrative that bridges past and present.”
Demna joined Gucci as artistic director of the brand after his last haute couture show for Balenciaga on July 9. Following his La Famiglia collection and film “The Tiger” starring Demi Moore, Edward Norton and Ed Harris, among others, presented in September, he staged his first runway show for fall in February in Milan.
