Mindy Kaling brought another sparkling Christian Louboutin pump onto the red carpet at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, pairing the brand’s crystal-covered Iriza style with an Elie Saab spring 2026 look at the post-Oscars event held at LACMA on Sunday night.
The Iriza remains one of Louboutin’s clearest d’Orsay shapes, cut away at the side to expose the arch and finished with a pointed toe and stiletto heel. Kaling’s pair came fully covered in small rose-gold crystals, which gave the shoe a dense, even shine rather than a scattered sparkle. The surface read almost metallic from a distance, then broke into a tighter grid of stones up close.

The low-cut vamp kept the front sharp, while the side opening and thin heel kept the profile lighter than a closed satin pump. While her glittering pair no longer seems to be available, the d’Orsay silhouette is currently available in smooth napa leather finishes with 85mm and 100mm heights.
Kaling paired the pumps with an Elie Saab spring 2026 gown in a warm sand tone. The dress featured a crystal-trimmed bra top and narrow embellished straps, opening into draped satin gathered at the waist and a thigh-high slit. Voluminous matching fabric wrapped around the upper arms, adding width and movement above a slimmer skirt line. Bucherer Fine Jewellery pieces added more shimmer at the hands and wrist, complementing her pumps.
Kaling has already been on a small Louboutin shimmer streak this year. At the WWD Style Awards in January, she wore another embellished pump from the house while presenting Erin Walsh with the Style Maker of the Year award. That pair leaned darker and more graphic in black mesh and crystal trim, while her Iriza pushed the idea softer and brighter in rose gold.
She was not the only guest in Louboutin at Vanity Fair’s Oscars party, either. Lauren Sánchez Bezos also wore the label, choosing black Dolly platform pumps with a vintage John Galliano dress.
The Vanity Fair Oscar Party entered its 31st year on Sunday and moved to LACMA for the first time. Held after the 98th Academy Awards, the invitation-only event remained one of Oscars night’s most watched late stops, drawing actors, musicians, nominees and presenters to the publication’s annual celebration.
