Original Penguin is adding to its athlete roster.
The company, which is a division of Perry Ellis International, has signed Carolina Chacarra as its newest golf ambassador.
Born in Madrid, Chacarra became a star at Wake Forest University, where she became one of the most recognized players in collegiate golf. During her amateur career, she was named ACC Freshman of the Year in 2022, earned inclusion on the 2022 and 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup teams, won the 2023 NCAA Championship title, and, in 2025, received the Inkster Award, an honor presented to the top-ranked NCAA senior.
Oscar Feldenkreis, chief executive officer of Perry Ellis, said Chacarra “represents a new generation of global golfers who bring personality, confidence and a fresh sense of style to the game. Original Penguin has always been about blending heritage with modern expression, and Carolina embodies that spirit perfectly both on and off the course.”

“I’m excited and proud to partner with Original Penguin as I take this next step in my career,” said Chacarra. “Original Penguin has such a cool mix of classic style and modern golf fashion. It’s a brand that feels just as natural off the course as it does on it, and I’m really looking forward to representing the Penguin.”
