Isko is navigating the sleeker side of denim fashion.
Last week at Denim Première Vision in Milan, the Turkish mill presented Moonskin Denim, a concept collection that demonstrates how advanced fabric design, when paired with responsible sourcing, can open new creative avenues.
“The purpose behind Moonskin Denim is to explore how denim can serve a more sophisticated, fluid, and sustainable narrative,” Fatma Korkmaz, Isko’s product development manager, told SJ Denim. “This is denim reimagined: sleek, elevated, and ready for the future.”

Designed in partnership with Daily Blue by Adriano Goldschmied, Moonskin utilizes City Glam, Isko’s range of finishing techniques that enhances fabrics with soft matte effects, smooth coatings and glossy sheen.
“Fabrics made with City Glam feature a sleek appearance paired with unexpected softness, thanks to Isko’s advanced finishing processes,” Korkmaz described. “A deep, luminous color palette supports clean, architectural silhouettes, delivering a modern interpretation of everyday luxury.”
These qualities resonate with Goldschmied’s modern, fluid silhouettes and emphasis on soft tactility and refined surfaces. The women’s collection includes fluid pants, long blazers, sharply tailored outerwear, and a belted maxi coat, all with thoughtful construction details like tonal fabric buttons. For men, the concept is applied to a heavier fabric construction enriched with certified recycled fibers sourced through textile-to-textile recycling firm and Isko’s sister company, Re&Up.
“We’ve invested in finishes and coatings that offer a polished look with technical benefits, while Re&Up allows us to integrate high-quality recycled fibers into our products, enhancing circularity without compromising style,” Korkmaz said.
Korkmaz emphasized how delivering fashion with a smaller footprint is the way forward. “There’s a strong and growing appetite for denim that blends sleek design with versatility and responsibility. Isko has responded by developing refined, flexible fabrics that elevate denim beyond traditional boundaries,” she said.
